Michael grew up in the United Kingdom, mostly in the south east around London, but has also spent time living in Scotland and Northern Ireland. He has a BA in Theology, Missions and Ministry from Durham University in England, and has been in ministry since 2007. He first served in a church on the outskirts of London for two years doing an internship with a focus on youth ministry, (amongst many other things!) He then spent five years working as a missionary in London and then in Belfast, Northern Ireland. He relocated to the greater Princeton area in 2014 and served in two other churches, focusing on outreach, youth ministry and children’s ministry, as well as working as Sports and Youth Director at the Princeton YMCA, before coming to Stone Hill in 2018.
At Stone Hill, he serves as Youth Director, overseeing middle school and high school ministries, as well as serving on the koinonia team and the care ministry team. He is passionate about discipleship, and about teaching young people to live for God’s kingdom and God’s glory.
Michael has been married since 2011 to his wife Katie, who was born and raised around Princeton and they have one son, Asher, who was born in August 2018. Michael enjoys going to the movies, watching soccer, reading, and chicken wings.
