Stone Hill Learning Center Science Fair:  Please join us for a very exciting evening on Thursday evening, May 2, 7 p.m. in Harris Hall as the Stone Hill Learning Center science classes present over 15 science fair projects. Our middle school and high school students have been working for several months on topics ranging from physics to neuroscience. The students will be available to discuss their projects and answer questions about their research. Refreshments will be served.

Stone Hill Learning Center Open House: Are you curious about homeschooling? Then you need to attend our Open House on Saturday, May 4 from  1 p.m. – 3 p.m. in Harris Hall! Stone Hill Learning Center, a ministry of Stone Hill Church since 1984, offers an array of exciting classes for homeschooled students from kindergarten through high school. We will host a special presentation entitled, “How to Homeschool through High School”. Small classes, individual attention and a curriculum taught from a Christian worldview are the hallmark of a Stone Hill Learning Center education. Handi*Vangelism: We are again gathering items for Handi Camp. Tim and Kathy Sheetz from Handi*Vangelism Ministry International will be our Extended Family speakers on May 8. All items must be at the church no later than noon that day.  A complete list of items being collected is available at the Welcome Desk.

Roar Camp 2019: Send your kids on a roaring adventure where kids will discover that even though life gets wild, God is always good. July 8-12th. You can register online at If you want to go wild as a volunteer, register at 

DR Luncheon: Please join us for a Team Report about the recent short term missions trip to the Dominican Republic. Team members will reflect on their experiences and show pictures from the trip. The luncheon will be on Sunday, May 5 after the second service in Harris Hall. Hope to see you there!

Adult Education Class: Parenting Children Who Reject Our Faith: This four week class will examine how we parent through this difficult and emotional situation. Pastor Jim Erickson will facilitate the four week sessions using a combination of lecture, testimony, and discussion. We will cover some takeaways for parents and things we can do for our children. The first class will begin May 5 at 9:30 a.m.  in the Adult Education room. Vivid Color Sunday: In the midst of Pastor Matt’s vision difficulties over ten years ago, he realized before God how remarkable is his creation of light and color. As a way to celebrate the beauty of color, we will join Pastor Matt on Sunday, May 12 in wearing clothing of vivid, rich colors. Let us praise the Lord in splendid garments of holy beauty (Psalm 96:9).
