Prayer

Prayer is vital to the life of the church and a key commitment of Stone Hill Church. We are called to pray to God, on our own and with others, in order to know Him, love Him, and join Him in what He is doing. (Matthew 7:7-11)

Prayer for Healing

We believe that God alone heals suffering of various kinds in his own time and in his own way.

Because we believe that Jesus Christ is raised from the dead, one day we will live in resurrected bodies free from every pain and suffering.

Until that great day, we entrust ourselves to God’s care to work in us what is pleasing to him, according to his good and perfect will. With God, all things are possible!

We use oil to anoint because it demonstrates God’s personal presence with us through the Holy Spirit.
